Andrew Bryan, owner/broker
Andrew Bryan is an entrepreneur, youth leader and one of Baker County’s leading economic advocates. A resident of Baker since 2003, he and his wife, Ann Heriza Bryan, have started and sold numerous businesses. Andrew’s business initiative translates into strong representation for his clients and concern for their interests in finding just the right buyer or seller for them. From 2008 to 2010, he was the interim county tourism director of Base Camp Baker and led efforts to increase Baker’s profile as a top destination for outdoor enthusiasts. He is owner of an educational consulting and services firm, Emerging Young Adults, and a founder of the non-profit program, TrekEpic, which helps young adults find direction in life by taking them on European walking tours. Bryan is also currently the Baker School District board chair.
Chelsea Judy, office manager, Broker, assistant to Andrew Bryan
Chelsea McLagan is from Bend but has lived in Baker since 2007. She is the office coordinator and a licensed Realtor. She is a certified Bikram Yoga Teacher and an avid snow sports enthusiast, runner and archer. Her knowledge of outdoor recreation is valuable in helping newcomers understand all that Baker County has to offer. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University-Cascades.
Cindy O’Leary Hunter, broker
As a native of Eastern Oregon and a graduate from Pine Eagle High School in Halfway, Cindy has an intimate knowledge of the Hells Canyon area from both a professional and personal perspective. Her diverse background allows her to help clients in more ways than just purchasing or selling their home. Having grown up and raised her three children here in Baker County, she has a well-rounded knowledge of what it takes to raise a family and build a successful business in Northeast Oregon. Her background includes five years as a back office nurse, thirteen years as owner/operator of a communications construction company and six years as a Professional Real Estate Broker. Cindy and her family love the abundant recreation offered in Baker, from mushroom hunting in the spring to deer hunting in the fall, as well as fishing, boating, 4-wheeling, gardening and just enjoying the scenery. Cindy loves being a Real Estate Broker as it has allowed her to help buyers get into their first home, help investors find those great deals and help retired people find the perfect retirement home in our retirement-friendly community.
Ann Mehaffy, broker
Ann returned to Eastern Oregon in 1999 to enjoy the area’s natural beauty, recreational opportunities and rewarding lifestyle in the unspoiled and friendly community of Baker City. Ann has served in many professional and volunteer roles that have involved advancing Baker County’s economy and quality of life. She has worked in financial management, non-profit management, art administration, economic development and as Baker City’s Historic District Main Street Manager. She currently serves on the board of Crossroads Carnegie Art Center and Baker City Farmers Market and is a member of Baker City’s Historic District Design Review Commission. Ann is also an avid gardener and an artist.
Aaron Harrell, broker
Aaron Harrell has lived in Baker since 2005 and loves running, mountain biking, hiking and skiing. A Seattle native, Aaron now lives in Baker with his wife and two children ages 3 and 5. Aaron’s strong appreciation for Baker’s outdoor pleasures makes him well-suited to help prospective buyers who place a priority on outdoor sports; he understands what outdoor enthusiasts need. Aaron also holds an MBA from Eastern Oregon University, so he has a good understanding of business that proves invaluable to our commercial clients. Aaron served in the U.S. Navy as a Chinese linguist and has worked in the information technology, academic advising, renewable energy, fitness and other industries.
Kristi Hensley, broker
Kristi Hensley hails from Keizer, Oregon, and after graduating from McNary High in 1985, she moved to Baker City to attend Eastern Oregon University. Kristi married Chris Hensley, a logger from Richland, Oregon, and together they have raised three children and now have three adorable grandsons. Having spent most of her life in Eastern Oregon, Kristi knows the value of working hard to play hard. She is always looking for her next warm vacation destination!
Kristi’s hard work and friendly personality generated many job opportunities for her, some of which were out of the area. Her love for Baker City and Eastern Oregon has kept her from leaving. With 14 years as a very successful district sales representative for Food Services of America, Kristi decided to purchase Baker City’s, Inland Café in 2007. Her desire for people and dedication to customer service has created very low turnover and a successful business.
After purchasing a new home in 2015, Kristi was quick to realize that she wanted to share the home buying experience with others and became a licensed Real Estate broker.
An outdoor sports enthusiast and Baker City native, Bethany Micka, has lived in La Grande since 2011. She enjoys downhill skiing, motorcycling, fishing, gardening, biking and backpacking with her dogs. She also enjoys home improvement projects and renovating investment properties, giving her valuable insights into local properties. For the past 13 years, Micka has worked as a US Forest Service dispatcher and firefighter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Eastern Oregon University.
